Hello, February!
One of the things we love about living in the Yakima Valley
is that there are always a wide range of events to choose from.
From family-friendly, to active or artsy,
to food/beverage & concerts, etc.
The list goes on! Yes–even in the Winter months!

So we thought it would be fun – and hopefully valuable to you –
to just share a handful of Upcoming Events for the month!
We can’t possibly list all of the things you can add to your calendar,
but we will highlight a few we are interested in
and some we feel may catch your attention, too!

“Kissing Booth Valentines Pet Photos At EarthWise Pet Yakima”
Saturday, Feb 5th, from 12-4pm
Wags to Riches and EarthWise Pet Yakima are teaming up again to raise funds.
100% of YOUR donations will go into our Spay-it-Forward fund which pays
to spay/neuter companion animals for Active Military, Disabled and
Low Income residents in the Yakima Valley

“Iron Orchid Design Valentines”
Saturday, Feb 5th, at 5:30pm at Farmgirl Pickings
Join us and learn how to use Iron Orchid Designs paper clay molds,
transfers and stamps to create two beautiful 8” wooden heart Valentines.
We will also use Amy Howard Home gold and silver waxes to embellish our creations.
Light refreshments provided. Space is limited – reserve your for $25.

“West Valley’s Lover’s Lane Booth Fair”
Saturday, Feb 12th, from 8 AM–2 PM at Meadowbrook Mall

Come and check out the creative talented people from around the valley.
They will have gifts and ideas for your special someone just in time for Valentine’s Day!

“Macramé, Oils & Drinks”
Saturday, Feb 12th, from 1 PM–3 PM at Public House of Yakima East

Bring your Galentines, have a drink, and DIY macramé while enjoying essential oils!
No experience necessary, Jenny Young will walk you through three different macramé projects.
Learn how to make a cactus, rainbow, and keychain
– or get creative and design your own art!
Cost: $20 per person. This covers DIY supplies, oils
& includes a 16oz on-tap beverage.

“Comedy Nights at Whistlin’ Jack’s Lodge and Outpost”
Friday, Feb 18th, from 7:30-10PM at the Fireside Lounge

Join us for hilarious fun provided by Komodo Comedy Agency, some of the funniest people around. Shows start at 7:30 pm in the Fireside Lounge.

“Yakima Town Hall Presents: Aron Ralston”
Wednesday, Feb 23rd, at 11AM at the Capitol Theater
Aron Ralston will be traveling to Yakima Feb 22nd to prepare for his presentation at Yakima Town Hall on Wednesday, Feb 23rd at 11am at the Capitol Theatre!
Aron Ralston is an American outdoorsman, mechanical engineer and motivational speaker known for surviving a canyoneering accident by cutting off part of his right arm.

“2022 Central Washington Sportsmen Show”
Fri – Sun, Feb 25th – Feb 27th, at the SunDome.
